Abstract Pyrite is separated from other minerals mainly by flotation. However, the hydrophilicity of pyrite affected many factors, causing it to easily enter concentrate and consequently reduce quality concentrate. Highly efficient depressants can be selectively adsorbed on surface improve its hydrophilicity, thereby increasing flotation separation efficiency.
